You’re a little bit too young to get signed at the moment. You haven’t finished growing both height wise and facially, so your features may have completely changed in two or three years time. You also havent finished “developing” so in a few years time you may find your figure is completely different from how it is now. At the moment you’re also too short, modelling minimum is 5”8, 5”9 for catwalk but that could change in the future as you still have a lot of time to grow.

To the people that have answered.
A UK size 6 or 8 is a US size 2 or 4
I hate to tell you this, but pratically every girl wants to be a model and barely ever make it. If you think you are especially beautiful then go for it, if not just be happy being who you are.
And I don’t see you making 5ft 8, sorry….
I’m 15 and 5ft 1, that’s depressing lol

Don’t count on getting discovered!!!
I don’t meanto sound, mean, but its only the truth.
Plus your a little short, im the same height lol, and..
Your dress size..seems a lil big..im only like a 2…

To be honest with you…I wouldn’t worry to much about being a model…who wnts to be judged constantly on how they look?
I did the modeling thing and trust me, it aint all its cracked up to be…a lot of girls provide sexual favors in order to half way make it…thats not what you want. If you thnk your pretty and just want to be in front of the camera…try being a news anchor…they are pretty and intelligent!

Well your short but you can do print work. Since your young I would try to go to casting calls in your area. When your older I would move to New York, LA or Miami. Even London! ;0) Good Luck!

Hey there,
Okay… well firstly becoming a model isn’t easy.. its actually very hard work, even though it does’nt seem it but you are still at a very young age to be making career decisions…. i wanted to be a model at 13 too! haha
Your 5ft 2 so, you are too small for a runway model but you can do other type of modelling.
I live in surrey too!!! But there is not any proper model agencies around this area and the proffessional agencies are located in London.
If you want to be a model… you got to atleast apply to a CHILDRENS modelling agency (get your mum or dad to do it for you)…. look on the net, yellow pages etc… but they normally charge a entry fee of £100-£200 (it depends which one).
but you should NEVER pay to get into the books or entrance fee to modelling. Most of them are scams which fool young girls like you into believing they are going to get famous, rich and whatever and they end up making you pay hundreds for your portfolio without you even realising.
It is also best if you are out and about and get scouted. Scouted is when a person who works for a model agency discovers you in the town and think you could have great potential as a future model.
I would talk to your parents about it, whether or not they are going to risk paying for you to get into an agency. Also being a model requires confidence, perfect complexion, natural beauty and a flexible schedual and patience. If you do apply for an agency…. YOU ARE NOT ENTIRELY GUARANTEED FOR WORK.
But as a child you can get paid quite a lot for a photoshoot…..
It would be good to start now before you hit gcses at school and you will end up have no time for modelling.
Good Luck. =)
Also i reccomend Scallywags Model agency… it was my old agency when i was a kid but i was not scammed but had to still pay.
