Here is your test:
Do you like being poor?
a- yes. b-no.
Mostly “a”s – get a PhD. Mostly “b”s – go to law school
In all seriousness, get thee to your undergrad career advisement services. They will administer the best tests out there, like the Strong inventory and the Myers-Briggs – and be able to go over the results with you with their expertise. They pay good money for these tests, which are otherwise expensive, and for the advisers. Get your tuition’s worth, even if you have been out a while.
I have never been able to find these online for free, but even if you could, it is much better to have a professional explain to you the results.
Strong normally costs $65 or so, MB is $150.
I used the two of them to find my career, and I am very happy.

The online free online career tests won’t really help you if you’re at the stage of looking at graduate programs. My advice: hold off on either until you’re 100% sure you want to commit yourself to it. Both are huge investments and commitments of time, money, and energy. There are plenty of unemployed people out there with ph.ds and JDs, and plenty of successful people with only a bachelor’s degree. Take your time.
