What’s A Good Way To Find A Career You’d Enjoy?

I’m going into my junior year of high school and I’m not sure what I want to do in life. I figure maybe if I get a list of options maybe I’d be able to pick something out. Well I looked at one and I don’t even know what my interests are. I’ve been thinking about being a chiropractor but I’m not sure if I’d really enjoy the job or if its just that anyone I’ve given a backrub to suggests it to me. So I’m looking for some help. What’s a good way to pinpoint my interests and find a career that’s right for me?

  2. if you are interested in becoming a Docotor of Chiropractic then call a chiropractor in your town and tell them you are thinking about chiropractic school and ask if you can shadow the doctor for a day or two to see if you like it. I have students shadow me all the time.

  3. Start with the basics. What do you do in your free time. Do you like sports, animals, going to the gym, computers, reading, writing, astronomy, working on your car…?
    Make a list. Then find would what jobs you could do with those interests. Also consider things like, pay, job security, advancement (can you move up), do you want to supervise? Take some time to look at all alternatives. You have some time to decide, but use the time to really look into things well to make a good choice.

  5. I would find a good church, pray, and seek God. God has placed everyone on earth for a specific purpose. What did you enjoy doing growing up? What do you have a passion for? Learn to hear the voice of God and read the Bible. That is the only way you will get direction, have peace, and be happy in this life. Money can’t buy happiness, so don’t think about the thing that makes the most money. If you seek God the money will come.
