the most important thing is what makes you happy, most of the time you get a job thats a pain but its money that you want. if you went to school you have many more opportunities but if not think of what you are good at. whether its with your hands go with something like landscaping or construction, if your good with numbers do accounting teach or something on the line of work of that, if you can manage a team you could be a manager of a store or something. Basically deciding on your forever career you need to figure out what you want to set out to do. Never hurts to learn something new look into some job that you don’t know if you could do it could help out in ur future. best of luck to you

You can tell if you will like a job within the first few days of employment, If you are just searching around, take a job, and if u dont like it quit. But if u need to quit a job, make sure you have another one lined up. But just examine yourself. Do you get along with others? do u enjoy solving problems? then maybe customer service is a good choice for you.
Do you like people, and selling items? maybe you would do well in sales.
How about animals? petsmart/co are always looking for someone to clean cages and such.
Just make a list of things you enjoy, and lay out the pros and cons.
Dont be afraid to quit if you dont enjoy what you do.
Its always better to have a job that you enjoy.

You should assess youself first. What are your strengths, what things you like the most, what are the topics that interest you. However, if you are not that prepared to enter into a permanent job, you should try first temp jobs.
Temp jobs will show and teach you the things that you will usually do once you start your work. Pressure in the workplace is the thing you should think about, if you are prepared to face deadlines of reports, etc.

well i think that the best way to find a career that you will probably be happy with is to take a career test. they will ask you questions and you have to answer whether you like it or not. that way they will tell you what kind of jobs you are most suited for.
