There is a book called “What color is your parachute?”.
It is an awesome help for people trying to find direction.
Most people I know are not doing anything associated with their college degree. They started out in one field and have moved on to something different, so don’t stress too much about not having an answer to your life’s work today.
Good luck on your search.

Go to a careers adviser at school, college, town, online
i don’t know where you live but heres a few websites which can spark your mind
Also you don’t get an idea overnight you can be doing something and you really enjoy it and then pursue it and if that door shuts start over again its what happened to me and most people
good luck in your search though : )

Your first two years of college are going to be general education which means that you will take classes from many different disciplines, this will give you a chance to see what you like/don’t like.
Also, your college will have career counselors that can administer tests to see what you’re good at and like. They can help.
my personal advice is to seek those things that interest you, even if you may not think they may be for you, just do it anyways, you might be surprised, no matter how off the wall they may be. Also, try out a lot of different things, it may take you a while, but eventually you will find something that you really enjoy, just be really open minded.

Think of some things you REALLY ENJOY doing. Whatever that is will give you a clue. What makes you passionate for instance….something you could stay up all night doing? For me, it’s writing…. I could do it 24 hours a day! I think whatever career or work a person does they should love it…. afterall we spend most of our lives at work. Good Luck!

start with finding what you like doing and if you good at it, then look in a book of careers or comething and find something that best suits that. (you can find a book of jobs usually in a library or you could just look on the internet).
