These days, most jobs, even largely physical ones, require training, study and expertise. College isn't a necessity (A good plumber can make more than many computer programmers) but still requires training, study and expertise. If she really detests study and learning then she has three options: Fast Food (Knowing she's unlikely to ever make Manager at a decently run restaurant) Retail (Again, knowing her advancement options are very limited) A third career that, in the USA, is only legal in certain counties in Nevada. If she doesn’t like to study and learning is unpleasant for her then COLLEGE isn’t right for her.
