I spent four years away when I was in college, and now I’m back and working in a field that I hate in a job that makes me feel completely hopeless. I would love to move to a new place and start a new career, but it seems almost impossible to do so. I’ve heard so many times before that I need to move away from Pittsburgh to find a career that I will enjoy, or even to find more than the few career opportunities found in the Pittsburgh area, but to get started seems daunting. I have a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication, with Finance,Customer Service, Media and Sales experience. For the lDoes anyone have advice for how to apply for jobs outside of your home area, and how to entice employers to take a chance on a “foreigner?” It would be a dream come true to move outside of the United States, but I’m not holding my breath, but if anyone can offer advice on where and how to apply for jobs outside of the country, I would love to hear them

But do not know what career to choose. I have a strong desire to promote healthy behavior,learn about diseases and basically help people. So I’m thinking of getting a joint MSc on Public health(health promotion) and Social work. But I also like to posses knowledge about the treatment part of diseases also. For instance I would like to know how and why cetain diseases occur and how to treat them. Does Health promotion cover all these areas? If not do I go ahead with my chosen area and do my best? or will I be unhappy not doing EVERYTHING that I like to do?
