One of my co-workers who was fired and came back to work after sucessfully appealing the termination using the government’s Merit Systems Protection Board, told me that she was unable to find a job in her field bc prospective employer’s kept going back to the most recent employer who fired her.
But a friend of mine keeps getting fired from jobs bc of personality conflicts but then keeps getting rehired in the same field.

I can understand a nose, and some earrings, obviously something underneath clothing is a non issue.
But I have to wonder what kind of employment a person can get with full facial tattoos, lip rings, eye brow rings (and some of the other crazy piercings you can easily google).
I mean, not everyone can be a musician/tattoo artist/jim rose circus sideshow freak.

I showed inconclusive on pre-employment drug test and was not hired for job in 2008. I was paid a bit for a one day training that I attended, but no more. Can the police background check find out about this if it is not on my application? I was never employed as the test showed inconclusive. I wanted to retest but they were going to make me pay for it. Found different job instead. Any ideas out there? Preferably from someone with applicable experience?
