I Really Want To Develop A Career In Career Counselling – How Do I Get Started Or Find Information?

January 30, 2010 – 4:53 pm

I currently work as a recruitment consultant and have a Psychology Degree which I completed last year. I’d really like to blend the two things together I begin a career in career counselling. I’m looking for information on what qualification / experience I need and just any advice in general!!
Thanks

  6. How about getting in contact with RELATE. They offer training and guidance. They are really good.

  7. Depending on what field within counselling you want to get into. You can’t just say I want to get into counselling and leave it at that…there are many forms of counselling!
Try speaking to Relate…..they used to allow people to work in a voluntary capacity to start and then if you were the right type of character they would assist in your development and all they asked in return was that you paid back the help they gave you by working for them for a set period of time.
