You didn’t get the job. Move on. Just like sales. Its a numbers game. You apply, interview, apply, interview…The more times you get your resume out there, the more likely you are to find that dream job. Good Luck!!!
I have been passed over for jobs as well, in fact recently. I just keep on going. Thats all you can do. The employers are not going to come looking for you. get on Monster.com and careerbuilder.com. Thats how I got my current job…and how I am looking for my next one too! =)

Many of the better jobs have more applicants than openings .
If 10 people apply for 2 jobs , 8 are rejected .
Some is aptitude , skill or experience and some is just luck of the draw .
I did not take it personally because I myself applied for many jobs when I was seeking , so I could not have accepted multiple offers , but it was nothing bad about the company offers I did not accept .
Apply for many jobs to keep a true perspective and do Not take it personal .

First, just move on. You can also try to learn something. Ask why you didn’t get the job. Did someone give a bad reference? Is it because you are not qualified enough or someone else was better qualified? If they give you some wishy-washy answer maybe it was something else, your appearance, they didn’t care for your personality, something you said. Knowing why may give you some tips for the next interview.

Always apply for multiple jobs, hard to have rejection when your busy preparing for more.

Although you may have been rejected for the job, try to look at it as a learning experience. Write a brief letter to the potential employer thanking him/her for taking the time to review your resume or for interviewing you. Indicate that it was a great learning experience for you. At the same time, ask the employer if he/she would be so kind as to offer your some constructive feedback as to why you were not considered for the position and ask if he/she has any suggestions that might be helpful to you in the future. Keep it brief and pleasant. Remember that sometimes it is the little things that employers notice. Also, be aware that there are instances where some employers will consider hiring you in the future, so you should try to leave a positive impression. In the end, it is not really about you as an individual. It is about business and the person who an employer believes he will benefit the most from by hiring. Good luck.

use it as learning tool for future interviews, and then you give snappy answer on Yahoo,LOL. Seriously it sucks but it is part of the hiring practice, think about the last person you beat out for a job how they felt.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Get applications out at a number of places. No one fills out one application and gets that job everytime.
