How Do I Find A Career In High School?
February 16, 2010 – 10:53 pmi have always dreamed of acting but now that im in high school i still would love to act but i know that, that may be impossible… i am looking for a career to base my classes around but nothing seems right who should i talk to??

Certainly your guidance counselor, but also the drama coach at your high school. English and English Literature would be almost certainly be recommended. Speech would be important as well. Don’t overlook the art classes.
You may also send for a college catalog listing college courses required for theater arts and with it, try to match these requirements with classes in your high school that could be compatible to your needs.
Otherwise, take as many math and science classes you can. These will probably serve you better than other subjects if you are still undecided on the career you wish to pursue.
