How Do I Choose A New Major, Get Out Of Retail And Find A Fulfiling Career?

Retailing is a very good skill. If you are really serious about a change of careers, then I would suggest that you stick with your current job and start a part time business which starts with small investments.
You will have a job for security and in the mean time you will be building a business system which will feed you for a lifetime. That is the best thing to do according to me.

  3. i used to be in retail but i shifted to auditing and inventory management – its an advantage to have retail experience coz you know whats happening ‘on the floor.’

    I will start by telling you to apprise yourself.what i mean is that, you should know the material that you are made of.you should also know the type of education require for the career you want to go into. if you know that the new career is going to take good care of you and you can also invest some portion of your income, also take care of your family, until when your children will grow up and begin to take care of you,you go for it. However , i will advice you to ask people that are doing the same business their success point because, if you should learn how to fish it will be better for you than to be asking for fish all the time.
    Lastly, i will also advice you to continue with your retail business because, at times some company do sack some of their workers in a massive form and if your company happen to experience this type of situation, and you happen to be affected, then you now think in your mind had i know i could have continue with my retail work which i think precious people like you don’t need in life.
    However, you should also asses the level of demand and supply of labour in the field you want to switch into by the market because,with this you can know the chance you will have to both getting a job and knowing your level of income which i think is your basic purpose of carpeet crossing. also the terms and conditions, can you work with it or are the sny part that is against both your spiritual and private believe. Thanks.
