  2. Do you enjoy retail and sales? 15 years of experience in this area would be an advantage for any employer if you want to remain in this field.
Just skim through the job postings section of your local papers and find a few that interest you.
    Good luck!

  6. The medical field is good. I work as a CNA making over $24,000 per yr. The schooling in Iowa is a 75hours of class time. I am working on getting my LPN and will then make about $16 per hour. I am also 36 with 4 kids, single parent. Good luck.

  7. 15 years experience in sales and retail? You should move into more professionals/ consulting work then. You can make lots of money doing that. If you’ve done sales for 15 years, you’ve obviously not going to enjoy a job that ties you to a desk.

  9. Depending on how much education u had, u could try management in retail and sales or a career in marketing. Also it’s not too late to go back to school. I’m 46 and in school for my degree in nursing and my kids are grown. I have a 3.8 gpa. Plus u have life’s experience to back u up. Go for the gusto. Continue to be the role model I know u are for your kids. The younger generation generally doesn’t respect responsibility, dependability,& all the other things employers look for. That’s where age and life’s experience comes into play. Good luck Sir.
