  2. I totally agree with Margaret’s excellent answer! The school that is providing the education should be able to help you land a couple of positions in that field! Don’t be surprised if the school reps suddenly have amnesia and can’t help you!

  3. Before anyone can choose a particular major, that person must know what to do with their degree. Why spend all that time in school when it isn’t going to be useful? So, I say go back to the career center at your school and maybe they can help you find a position with that degree,

  4. Nowadays, most every agency has their own website to attract applicants. Pick an agency in your area and go on line to find their web site. You can also try the following sites;
    Peace officers Standards and training
    American Correctional Association
    American Jail Association
    Craigs list
    Jobs for Cops
    law enforcement jobs
    or just google law enforcement.

  7. Your school’s counseling office should have a list of feilds that are related to each major. Just ask a counselor in your dept.
