  2. In college, I heard that the very best job for you is one where the salary is truly icing on the cake. You’d want to do this even if you didn’t get paid — if, of course, you had another job to pay the rent and such. Once you find that, you’re set.
What causes do you feel strongly about? Do you have any hobbies that could take over your life if you let them? Think along hose kinds of lines for a few days and see what you come up with.
Now, to answer your literal question. Yes, I have a job like that. I’m with the Covenant Players. It’s an international repertory Christian theatre company. I’ve been with them over 20 years, don’t get paid much, and love my work. It’s a different kind of missions work. I’m an active Christian, so missions work is a logical choice; yes, I’m called to this. God promised that He would provide, and He has. In over 20 years, I have never been without something I needed, and have rarely even been without something I wanted. Fun, hm? Our website is http://www.covenantplayers.org if you want to have a look. We’re getting a new website shortly, but I think the old one is still up.

  3. I love my career…I am actually a Career Counselor. I assist others in finding their passions and getting where they want to be. I suggest you meet with one either at a college you may attend or someone in private practice. You can gain some insightful info at my site http://www.careerful.com. Best wishes!

  4. I have a business selling nutritional products. It costs me nothing to produce the product, the company handles all financial transactions and I just benefit from a commission structure. If I go on vacation, that is OK, the opportunity to make money is there any time I choose to use it.
It helps people improve their health. I like helping people to improve their health, and also to improve their finances.

  5. I have always enjoyed Customer service work and enjoy being a customer service rep very much – I have a degree but the jobs in my field are far and few between. I stumbled into customer service and found that I really love it, I enjoy the variety of people I talk to on a daily basis plus the company I work for is a good one.

  6. I am a senior recruiter for a consulting company. This position fell in my lap about two years ago and at first I was hestitant to take it. I had no respect for what recruiters did after spending 5 years as a consultant. But after awhile, I realized it was my calling and now I love it with all my working heart! Two years later I am a senior-level recruiter, a million+ dollar biller, and on track to be a recruiting manager for a Twin Cities consulting company. I wouldn’t trade my career for anything at this point.

  7. I teach yoga & am currently in cosmetology school to become a hairdresser/colour tech. I’ve wanted to do hair since before I can remember – I was always the little kid on the playground chasing down the other kids with scissors.. Hair is definitley my passion..
Teaching yoga kind of happened by accident for me, I was introduced to it at 14 and its helped me focus and calm myself in stressful situations and everyday life. I love that I can help other people come into contact with their own sense of peace and connect with themselves on a deeper level. After I finish cos school, I plan to keep teaching bc of that..
