What Is A Good Job For People Who Like To Work With There Hands? But Don’t Have Any Mechanical Aptitude?
July 13, 2010 – 11:16 amI like to work with my hands… i.e. carving creative pumpkins, painting, basic carpentry… I like doing it… Most people would just consider such things a hobby, but I really am trying to find a career, and thats the only kind of thing I think I would like to do with my time if I had a choice… any careers that you can think that would go with these things…? I understand that to find a career in Psychology the minimum that should be required to be successful is a Masters which I plan to do. However, I was told that with a bachelors in Psych “good luck trying to find a job” but with a bachelors in Social work i can do more and then eventually I can work more into Psych with a masters in Social work. Is this true? Can someone really help me and break it down if it’s not too much. Example: I was told that with MSW I can do Psychiatric work for instance Psychiatric social worker (at a hospital) however…which a Masters in Psychology, I don’t think I can do that. I want to make sure this is true before I start making some changes since Psychology is really what I would love to do for the rest of my life
