A Question For The Ladies. Do You Find A Man Less Attractive If He Doesn’t Have A Career Yet?

February 7, 2010 – 4:52 am

I’m finishing a master’s degree in nutrition. Currently, I’m in a full time internship that is unpaid. I hope to be in the workforce in 6 months. As a woman would you find me less attractive because I’m in limbo? I just wanted to get some perspectives b/c my sister believes that I will be more attractive to women once I get an established career.

  2. many women are like that but for me I see ambition and that is what matters. If you are in school and you are seriously going for your career then that is perfectly fine. I would rather struggle with you thryu school but have a good life with you for forever than ditch you and lose you because you haven’t finished school yet. Good things I believe are worth the wait.
You sound like you are working hard toward your goal and I personally find it really sexy

  3. No. I would find you less attractive if you had no drive or ambition and just did nothing. Getting an education and having to do certain things such as internship that’s unpaid to gain experience or just find yourself really wouldn’t bother me at all and it defiantly would not make you less attractive. I know that goes with many of my friends as well. As long as your trying to achieve something its usually good enough. Hope this helped!!

  4. Yes. Having independence & stability is something we all desire in a relationship. A man that’s taken the time to pursue an education & establish a career shows both those qualities.

  5. Well your getting a masters in nutrition so that in itself is not that impressive. Women want to see green now or at least in the near future.

  6. If they didn’t want a job and had no motivation to earn money and/or achieve something worthwhile in their life, then I would find that very unattractive.

  8. Dude, hell no. You’re getting your masters, that’s really impressive, and it shows that you care about your future.
